Director of Consumer Direct~ As the Director of Consumer Direct for Foley Family Wines, I am a key member of the Direct Sales Leadership team, driving growth through strategic outbound sales, customer service, and direct marketing channels. I am responsible for delivering exceptional sales performance across our prestigious winery collection, which includes top-tier luxury brands such as Cherry Block Cabernet from Sebastiani Winery, Chalk Hill, Merus Cabernet Sauvignon, Ferrari-Carano Vineyards, Chateau St. Jean, Foley Johnson, and Silverado Vineyards, among over 17 brands in total. By building and coaching a high-performing team, I focus on ambitious sales targets and ensure excellence across all channels, contributing to the continued success and expansion of Foley Family Wines. General Manager Merus Winery~ Recruited and responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the “elite” brands division, brands earning ratings of 94 – 97 points, including two world-class wine tasting facilities (Merus Winery and Foley Food & Wine Society Tasting Room), both “by appointment only” properties, $1.5 M in sales, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, executive reporting, four employees (Estate Ambassadors and Sales Associates), profitability, manage budgets, sales forecasting, implement marketing strategies, operations, managing guest-centered and profitable hospitality operations, all sales, managing the allocation list of loyal winery advocates “Cult Cab Enthusiasts,” conducting daily two hour “Cave event” tours for invited guests only (wine education, special events, wine paring VIP dinners, hosting the California Cab Classic, and more), hiring and training of tasting room staff, internal employees, and trade groups, safety, compliance, operation excellence, developing sales strategies, cross-marketing tactics with telemarketing campaigns, creating one-on-one personal experiences, scheduling, managing daily productivity, retail merchandise, retail transactions, daily set-up and breakdown of Hospitality House and cave, daily reporting, money management, reconciling daily transactions, answer direct incoming guest phone calls, daily staff meetings, shipping, daily banking and cash balancing, management and facilitation of building improvements and esthetics, regular maintenance, and work irregular hours including weekends and evenings. |
